Our goal is to introduce students to the field of sociology and prepare students to major in sociology upon transfer to a university. 社会学 majors enter a wide variety of careers including business, 市场营销, 社区服务, 卫生服务, 高等教育, 法律, 出版, 社会服务, 和教学.
我能学到什么??You will learn how to use the sociological imagination to understand your social world. Human beings are largely shaped by the societies in which we live. You will learn how the various elements of society -- family, 宗教, 教育, 经济, 医学, 法律, 政治, 媒体, culture and more -- shape our behavior and experiences in life. Marketable skills are also integrated into our courses. Students will improve their skills in critical thinking, written and oral communication, empirical/quantitative analysis, and personal responsibility. |
